Biography

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Hacettepe University. My research focuses on the mathematical and computational modeling of complex dynamical systems, with particular emphasis on stochastic processes, differential equations, and data-driven computational approaches.

My work integrates deterministic and stochastic modeling with numerical methods, Markov jump processes, stochastic differential equations, Monte Carlo Markov chain methods, and neural networks. A major part of my research is devoted to the modeling and analysis of biochemical reaction systems and mathematical biology, including signalling pathways and epidemic models, where I develop computational approaches for systems characterized by stochasticity, multiscale dynamics, and complex interactions.

More recently, I have extended these mathematical and computational methodologies to stochastic modeling of malware propagation and cyber attacks, combining epidemic-type models, stochastic processes, and neural-network-based approaches. Across these application areas, my research is driven by a common objective: developing mathematically rigorous and computationally efficient methods for the analysis, simulation, inference, and prediction of complex stochastic systems.
